****STUDIO GRAND OPENING EVENT- Friday, November 5, 2010 from 6-9 p.m at 121-D McGee Street, Greensboro, NC 27401 (right around the corner from Natty Greene’s pub). This is a free event that is open to the public and will take place simultaneously with the downtown Greensboro “First Friday” event. Come and enjoy food, wine, music, door prizes and a vintage style “photo booth”. The First Friday event includes several bands that will be playing in center city park. Art galleries, restaurants and the indie market (handmade and vintage goods) are all walking distance from the studio! Children are welcome to both the studio opening and first friday events.
For the photography studio grand opening, catering will be provided by Basils & Co. with cake by Simply Scrumptious (also associated with Basils & Co. wedding catering service), music by DJ Chris Fletcher of 107.5 and owner of Triad DJ Service, flowers by Botanica Flowers and Gifts and vintage fashions provided by At the Ritz Costume Rental. Jenni Essa of Coordinating Visions will be on hand to chat with those guests who are interested in wedding or event planning.
Complimentary wine will be served, there will be a “photo booth” with vintage props and door prizes (including portraiture sessions and gifts from the Proximity and Printworks Bistro). As a grand opening special, appointments for $50 studio holiday portraiture sessions will be available!
